We were visiting town for the day and came across the reviews for Carlito's and wanted to try it. I sat outside with my dogs on the patio. The waitress recommended the lasagna which was flawless! The service was impeccable! The views were beautiful! Really a simply spectacular experience! We cannot wait to come back!
Food: Really just great food. Just good quality and no BS. While the amount of food did seem somewhat smaller than I expected, my group and I walked away totally satisfied, so it was nice and filling! The little green salad that comes with the pasta dishes was so fresh and the perfect way to start the meal (delicious dressing!) And then the pastas were so rich and fresh at the same time haha so good! Also, somehow the bread like, melts in your mout🤤 Ambiance/experience: I believe our server was Javier and he was so kind and even though he was doing a lot, he was so attentive and helpful. The chef even came out to see how we all liked our food and it made it so personal. (Also, in case you're wondering, it's less restaurant style and more Café style. We sat outside and it was really nice.) Price: My ONLY thing is, the price was a little bit higher than what I was hoping for I guess. Was hoping to stay under $20 for each plate but after adding chicken to our pastas and getting a side of bread, all 3 plates were over $20, probably even $25. Would still totally go back though!
My wife and I have been vacationing in Klamath Falls as a base going to Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic, Lava Beds, and Redwood National Parks. On our last day, we were looking for a restaurant in Ashland. We found Carlito’s Italian Cuisine and were very glad that we did. The food was wonderful. My wife had the Spaghetti Bolognaise and really enjoyed the taste. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and thought it was great. It was creamy, smooth, and had a great taste. The atmosphere was nice and inviting with soft jazz in the background. We had a nice conversation with the owner about the restaurant. Service was excellent. My wife and I travel a lot and have visited many other countries. We always try to eat at local restaurants to enjoy the area and the people. Often, we are disappointed with the food, service, and atmosphere. However, Carlito’s Italian Cuisine is a place we highly recommend and would come back to enjoy the food.
Absolutely wonderful! Some of the best Italian food I've had quite a while. And the real beauty of it. It's at like half the price. You'll usually pay for the meal. It's a very small restaurant with a diner type family restaurant feel. Very unpretentious. We had the lasagna and the Alfredo and we knew it was going to be special when they brought the house salad out. That was anything but boring. Definitely five stars.
5 stars all around! Everything about Carlito's was excellent! All of our food was so flavorful and fresh. The iced tea was fresh - nice and strong (my fav). The service was welcoming and fast. And great ambiance too. We'll definitely be back!
