Dominant flavor is soy sauce, nothing else. The chicken itself was bland, the adobo sauce is too salty/soy sauce. The sisig is served with barely cooked egg without the hot plate (the plate it was served in was barely warm, definitely not hot enough to cook the egg), the sisig itself was too salty, similar flavor to adobo). The Halo-Halo is your typical 5 pesos halo-halo from the streets of Philippines, no flavor. Calamansi Iced Tea was pretty good, it did have a hint of calamansi, I just wished the glass wasn't filled to the brim with ice. For a Filipino restaurant, it's weird that the meals didn't come with rice or that it was actively offered, the server made it seem like rice was optional, it's a Filipino cafe, rice is in Filipinos blood! I felt rushed when I was there, I spent almost $100 for one person! and the 2 server kept asking if I was ready for the check, keep in mind I was actively eating. They didn't offer desert, I had to ask for it. The place was full around 1730-1830.
Amazing experience all around! Went here for my partners birthday dinner and received quick and kind service, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was so flavorful and delicious. We got the “Harana for 2” which includes lumpia, chicken adobo, and jasmine rice and it was the perfect amount of food for two people and a nice way to sample what their menu has to offer. My partner got the milk tea cocktail to drink and was impressed by the flavor and unique presentation. We hope for their continued success!
GOOD VIBES! MUST VISIT! Ordered the Kare Kare, Chicken Adobo and Lumpia. All Yummy. Tasty, authentic, humble and approachable place to experience. Great ambiance with bold Filipino flavors and friendly service. Excellent execution and representation of Filipino food, refreshing to support and discover Filipino when done right with intention, Ashland is lucky to have Harana. Overall the restaurant delivers on design, food and service. Bonus shout out to playlist selection; w/ the soulful Filipino melodies and hiphop bringing everything together. Will visit again! Thank you Family! Fyi, Harana means to serenade in Tagalog. It all makes sense now.

It was my first time to try Beef Mami. Wow. Tender beef and noodles in one of the best broths I have ever tasted. Hubby had the adobo chicken with a side of jasmine rice, which he highly complimented (his usual comment at restaurants is "it's all right") A hidden gem of a restaurant in Ashland...and you'll make it to the theater on time!
