Highly recommend. Just know it will be crowded! We arrived 4 minutes after they opened and the restaurant was already almost full. Luckily we got seated right away. The server brought the kids crayons, paper to color in, and buildable/flexible wax sticks which was a great way to keep them entertained. The food took a while because we were part of the morning rush so the server brought us some free muffins to eat while we waited. So thoughtful! The food was great. Huge portions. We got the lemon ricotta stuffed French toast and the breakfast sandwich. The side of pancakes it came with were two large pancakes. The perfect amount for us (2 adults and 2 young kids). Next time we go to Ashland, we’ll be back!
This is the GOAT breakfast spot of Ashland. They serve all the usual classics with finesse and love. The bacon comes crisp, the pancakes fluffy, the omelettes delicate, and the hash browns seared beautifully. Beyond that, they push their menu to incorporate delicious, more elevated ingredients. The smoked bacon omelette is a banger. If you like the carmelized flavor of French onion soup, you’ll love this! So rich and deep with umami flavor, melding with diced bacon and fontina cheese. The Belgian waffle is also intense with bits of walnut and bacon baked in, which collides beautifully with hot maple syrup. So delicious! Lastly, I like to champion breakfast spots that have the courage to deliver expertly done hash browns. Breadboard doesn’t even try, with the usual “home fries” cop-out (that nobody loves but will tolerate). Brothers serves hash browns, but they’re usually soggy and falling apart. Not the case here. You get a nice, flat, crisp, rigid slab of hashbrowns, ready to accompany your main. Overall this is my number one spot for an Ashland breakfast. Definitely worth the small drive from downtown.
Best breakfast in Southern Oregon! I've not been disappointed by the food I've had there. The huevos rancheros, the crepes, the potato au gratin, the waffle... Just mentioning them makes me want to go there for breakfast again! The only disappointment is that they're closed for a couple of days out of the week, haha. Be sure to go there. Whether you live here, or are passing thru, stop by, get yourself really good breakfast, and try the Oregon chai. You will not be displeased
In this beautiful place we had a delicious Bloody Mary, Wildmushroom Crepe and Huevos Rancheros. It was fresh and delicious. We can't wait to visit this place again
We had a great first visit to Morning Glory last weekend. The patio is very cozy with blooming flowers and a beautiful large tree. Our server, Crickett, was lovely and very welcoming to our almost 15yr old pup that was with us. Coffee and food were fast and delicious! Plan for a bit of a wait on the weekend, but it’s worth it. Parking is tight in the back, it’s worth parking on the street and walking over if you’re able.
