What an incredible dining experience! Osteria La Briccola was easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Ashland. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The house-made pesto pasta was outstanding—perfectly cooked and packed with vibrant, authentic flavor. The salmon was cooked to perfection with a crisp, caramelized exterior while remaining tender and flaky inside. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and you can tell everything is made with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Ashland, this is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!
We came here four our valentines dinner this year and it was absolutely perfect. Every staff member we interacted with was very kind and helpful especially our waitress who was very knowledgeable of the menu. We had oysters as our appetizer, lamb ragu and a seafood spaghetti as our mains, and an affogato and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was absolutely amazing. The dishes were made with such care and passion. They also had a great wine selection.
We absolutely loved our dining experience. Nice variety to the menu without feeling overwhelming. We did wish there were mocktails options that didn't use zero-proof alcohol because those still couldn't be sold to anyone underage. For the non-soda drinking minors the option was basically water or an Italian soda which she's not a fan of but that's such a minor drop in the bucket when dining it wasn't an issue. Simply noting it for others who are alcohol free for any reason. It's definitely a restaurant you'll want reservations at because it gets quite busy.
I was with some friends in Ashland for a bachelorette outing in April, and the restaurant where we had planned on eating dinner ended up having an event going on and we were unable to go there. We ended up just wandering around the area looking for an alternative and stumbled upon Osteria La Briccola; I'm always down for Italian, and it looked like there were some good options for the members of our group who were gluten free. There were 7 of us though, and we were told it would be about a 50-minute wait for a table. It was getting kind of late to be looking for somewhere else to go, so we were like okay, we'll just sit and wait. As we were walking away, the general manager Daniel rushed out and said if we could give him 15 minutes, he could have us set up in the private dining room. We didn't even know such a thing existed, but we said okay, cool. Reader, it could not have possibly been a better experience. We waited a bit (less than 15 minutes, even) and walked into this private space to find a large family-style dining table all set up for us, with candlelight and music and the whole bit. Our server Patrick was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the menu, able to answer all our questions, and had a great sense of humor. Everyone ordered something different and ended up trying bites of each other's food, and it was all delicious. I'd had my heart set on seafood so I ordered the Bigoli Della Briccola, and it absolutely delivered. It also wasn't a huge portion, so I was able to eat the whole thing without feeling uncomfortably full. Several of us even ordered dessert; I don't normally, but the salted caramel gelato sounded too good to pass up (and it was well worth it). It was such a great evening and was, I'm sure, 10x better than the other place we'd originally planned on eating at. Thank you Daniel and Patrick for taking such good care of us!
Food was incredible, it was the best food I’ve ever had in the Valley. I never order dessert when I go out, but you do not want to miss out. Their hazelnut gelato is to die for. Jackie, our waitress was wonderful, she was versed on the specials, and exceptionally kind even though we were there up until close. We will absolutely return not only for the food, but for the great service.
