Amazing location and the tastiest food. Who knew a GF scone could be so flaky and perfect? Highly recommend the peach scone (ours were hot and fresh!) quiche and avocado toast were delish and we took some treats to go. We will be back anytime we are in town!
A sublime spiritual experience. It's my wife that needs things gluten free, and it's hard for us to find places that she loves. Everything here is 100% gluten free and 100% delicious today even for normal people like me. ;) I had the waffles and they were better than normal waffles. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive on top of all that.
First time sitting down at Vida and had my first Brazil nut waffle. I’ve enjoyed working my way through their various muffins. The waffle was DELICIOUS! Topped with fresh fruit, coconut cream (sweet), and maple syrup. Vida is gluten free and this one is dairy free as well! I sat at the two top by the window, sipped my Americano and people watched before enjoying breakfast. While it’s a small space, it’s flooded with light and you’re greeted by lovely people that make you feel right at home. Cannot recommend Vida enough ✨
Oh! my-God. This is next level gluten-free baking. I knew manioc flour makes for delicious baked goods and is gluten-free, from living in Brazil. However there all I ever had were these little round rolls called Pão de Quijo made with cheese. But at VIDA wow, they’ve made a savory and sweet waffle with the same cheese and manioc flour recipe (mandioca in Brazilian). Their Pão de Quijo waffles are topped with a marinated rosemary sprig, roasted grapes, and ricotta. I could kiss the chef who invented it, its that special. Everything at VIDA is made with manioc flour, the blueberry strudel cinnamon bun is to die for, their bread loaves are thick, but light and springy. My BF got the special sandwich, Vida Cuban, a pressed scrumptious slow cooked pork creation. They have dairy free coffee drinks. Cant wait to try more of their many offerings. A+++
Wow! Best sandwich I have had in a long time: Layers of flavor with the pork, ham, mustard, and pickles! Great service with a smile! I had the Vida Cuban with a side green salad. Perfect lunch in Downtown Ashland!! Highly recommended!
